Fall Family Mini-sessions were a hit! {Parker, CO family photographer}

I had the pleasure of getting to know 5 new families this weekend, during my Fall Family Mini-sessions at Hudson Gardens. We had a great time, and the weather was just perfect! The colors at Hudson Gardens right now are just wonderful! The flowers are still in bloom and the leaves are starting to change, so I really couldn't have asked for more. Here are a few of my favorites from this weekend.

Adorable baby "R"~ Parker, CO Newborn photographer

I had a newborn session today with the sweetest little boy! He was so good, and just couldn't stop smiling :) I've never done a newborn shoot with a little boy, and I'm so used to having baby girls to dress up, with bows, and skirts, and wings. There was something so nice about the simplicity of taking pictures of just a baby....

Mandy and Ryan Tie the knot~ Denver Wedding Photographer

This weekend I had the honor of photographing a beautiful wedding in Montrose CO. Mandy and Ryan were such a humble couple. As the maid of honor put it in her speech "who knew that my sister would marry the farm boy down the road." I had such a great time and was so pleased that they choose me as their photographer! Here are just a few of my favorites, and I have so many more to go through so keep your eye out for more! I was also given the opportunity to photograph their Rehearsal Dinner, which was a "Cowboy Black Tie Affair" I will be posting some of those in a few days.



Mandy and Ryan were married at St. Mary Catholic church, this was how it was lit up at night. I thought it was just beautiful!

The girls got ready in the ladies locker room at the Bridges Country Club, the reception was also held there. It's a beautiful location!

The ceremony was a Catholic Mass, the inside of the church was beautiful with some amazing stained glass windows.

We were given access to the entire golf course (and golf carts to boot).  We were able to use this great shaded bridge, and it just added so much to the pictures.

Stop Motion Video~Magic

So I saw this video on The Maternal Lens yesterday, and I just LOVED it so much I had to create my own... I've wanted to do a stop motion video for a while now and thought this would be perfect. So Lilly and I set out with my new camera, and here is what we came up with....
The music is by a band called Rabbit, and the song is titled Magic. It can be downloaded on Amazon, and actually their entire album is great...

Oh yeah... I took about 800 pictures to make this, and below is one of my faves from the night.

A BIG thank you!

I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to Amanda Lamb of Lamb Photography for letting me tag along on a wedding shoot a few weeks ago.  The Bride and Groom, Mike and Tina, were so welcoming. They were married at Crooked Willow Farms in Larkspur CO. This has got to be one of the most gorgeous places to get married in Colorado. They seem to have thought of it all.
I learned so much from Amanda, and I can't thank her enough for taking time out of her busy night to answer any questions I had.
