Here are just a few more favorites from my session with Marcus. We were up bright and early this morning to get the rest of the shots. We had some great light!

Sneek Peek~Marcus {Parker/Denver Senior Portrait Photographer}

Marcus will be a Senior at Ponderosa High School in the Fall. We started our session in Parker, with hopes of finishing up in Lone Tree. The lighting was great, due to the clouds, but needless to say we were rained out. So we are meeting up early in the morning to finish up his shoot... Marcus was great in front of the camera, and easy to shoot. Enjoy just a couple of my favorites!

This next one is probably one of my favorite shots I have ever taken. Marcus came up with the idea for the pose, so props to him!

Parker | Denver Special Needs Photographer

So one of my aspirations, is to specialize in photography for people, and families with children who have special needs. Being a Special Education teacher, this is something that is close to my heart. Often times families who have children with special needs are reluctant to get their pictures taken, because they are nervous about how the session will go. My goal is to make these family session just like any other family session.... So Jesi is a former student of mine who I spend time with during the summer. She and her family were nice enough to let me take some pictures of her today. They turned out great and we had a blast! So.... this is Jesi, one of my favorites ;)

Ms. Viki~ Parker / Denver Senior Picture Photographer

OK, so this poor girl had been rescheduled with me 3 times due to our crazy Colorado weather! We were supposed to go tomorrow and when I heard about the 80 mph winds we are going to have, I called her up last minute to see if she could go today. She was game, thank goodness! We had such a blast, she is a natural in front of the camera! I went up all ready with my cheat sheet of poses, and turns out I didn't even use it! She knew just what to do. I can't believe how hard it is to pick my favorite few for a sneak peek, but here goes..... Enjoy

We found this awesome red door, a perfect place for Viki to do some modeling!

Viki danced for a very long time, and it was a huge part of her life. I wanted to find a unique way to honor that. We also got some great shots full on in her shoes!

 

I seriously don't think it gets more "natural beauty" than this!

 

Just love the sparkle in this one!

I love my new chair!!! I was so glad to be able to use it today!

I have to tell you what a huge help Viki's mom was! I asked Viki to climb up this hill in her heels, and all of a sudden her mom swoops her up!

OK so that's a little more than a few, but it was so hard to choose!!!

Parker, Denver Newborn photographer.... Baby girl "E"

I have been waiting to get pictures of this baby since January when she was still in her mom's belly! I did her parents maternity session (click to view post) back in April.

Baby "E" is just about the sweetest thing I have seen. She was so calm, and the perfect little model. We did these pictures in her home. Her mom has some great rustic looking furniture that lent itself well to this shoot.

This week they are raising awareness for Soles 4 Souls a non profit organization that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you.
